THORNSTORN and NIC has signed an extended contract to develop and offer Weather index insurance (WII) with Azania Bank and CRDB insured farmers 2023/2024 season. The two contract will involve product development and conducting loss assessment in the district of Serengeti and Chunya for Weather index insurance (WII) , Tobacco and in the district of Kyela, Mbarali, Momba, Sumbawanga rural, Nsimbo, Mlele, Mpimbwe for rice farmers under CRDB Bank.
